Meet The Team

David Localio
Founder, Head Porting Pioneer, Valvetrain Authority
David Localio launched HeadGames Motorworks in 2001 from a 200-square-foot room with nothing but raw skill, an eye for detail, and an obsession with airflow. But the story started long before that.
After graduating from the School of Automotive Machinists (SAM Racing), David sharpened his skills at Pat Musi Racing Engines, working under one of the most respected names in the industry. It was during that time that an encounter with Sheikh Abdulla of Bahrain opened doors to international racing programs and championship-caliber collaborations. Through that connection, David partnered with Ara Arslanian, owner of Bullish Motor Racing. Setting world records and building a reputation from the ground up—literally. And HeadGames was born.
With over 25 years of experience in hand-porting cylinder heads and a seamless transition into CNC machining, David brought instinct and precision into perfect alignment. His heads have powered everything from street builds to 6-second quarter-mile monsters.
But what truly separates David from the rest is his deep, often rare expertise in camshaft and valvetrain development. In an industry where valve train systems are too often an afterthought—especially on the sport compact side—David’s commitment to precision geometry, harmonics, and power delivery has changed how people think about making horsepower that lasts.
At HeadGames, you're not just getting a machine shop—you’re getting decades of experience, championship pedigree, and engineering that’s obsessed with every thousandth of an inch.

Tiffani
Shop Manager, Saint of Scheduling and Sanity
Tiffani joined HeadGames in 2006 straight out of high school—and has been holding the place together ever since. She’s run every machine, ported heads shoulder-to-shoulder with David, and now runs the daily grind with the precision of a Swiss watch and the patience of a preschool teacher on espresso. As Shop Manager she’s the reason we're organized, punctual, and not in total chaos. She also has to deal with David on a daily basis, which means sainthood isn’t just a figure of speech—it’s a job requirement.

Uncle Johnny
Uncle Johnny – Retired Spokesman, Wrong-Way Specialist
Born in the backwoods of imagination and raised on satire, Uncle Johnny hailed from the legendary “Uncle Johnny’s Feed & Speed.” Sporting a blonde wig and a Southern drawl, he was created to do everythingexactlythe wrong way—so viewers could finally understand therightway. Equal parts comic relief and chaos, Uncle Johnny was either your favorite YouTube uncle… or the reason you rage-quit the comments section. Polarizing? Absolutely. Helpful? Surprisingly. Retired? For now. But legends never die—and neither does a good wig. Stay tuned, he just might resurface when you least expect it.

Amy
Amy – Sales Support, Second Inspector, Quiet Enforcer of Quality
Amy’s been with us for over a decade, and it shows—in the best possible way. With a background rooted in machine shops and a no-nonsense approach to getting things right, she’s the force behind our second inspections, spring pressure checks, lash settings, and the daily rhythm of the shop. She works part-time in sales, full-time in making sure nothing slips past quality control, and still finds time to help Tiffani keep the whole place in check. You won’t find her in front of a camera (she’s made thatveryclear), but her work is all over every head that leaves this shop. If it’s dialed, reliable, and done right—chances are, Amy had a hand in it.

Matt Lichon
Head CNC Programmer/Operator, Welder & Valve Job Specialist
Matt has been with HeadGames Motorworks for over four years, and in that time, he’s earned a reputation for precision that borders on obsession—in the best way possible. As our lead CNC operator and go-to guy for valve jobs, Matt doesn’t let anything out the door unless it’s 100% right. His sharp eye for detail ensures that every head we ship lives up to the HeadGames name.
When he’s not chasing airflow perfection, Matt’s either at the drag strip, behind a camera, belting out karaoke hits, or perfecting his two-step on the dance floor. Precision comes in many forms—and sometimes it wears cowboy boots.

Greg
Assembly Technician & All-Around Shop Rocket
Greg’s been with HeadGames for over 4 years, and if you’ve ever seen a blur moving across the shop—it was probably him. Born into a family where horsepower is a second language, Greg doesn’t just love engines, he speaks fluent RPM.
Fueled by a mix of adrenaline, caffeine, and possibly illegal levels of enthusiasm, he’s always tweaking, dialing in, or chasing perfection. He doesn’t sit still, he doesn’t settle, and he sure as hell doesn’t miss details. If it’s not better than before, Greg’s not done yet.
When he’s not wrenching, he’s out riding something loud and fast—usually on two wheels, sometimes just for fun, and always full throttle.

Cameron
Disassembly & Inspection Technician
Cameron is the newest member of the HeadGames crew, but he fit in so fast you'd think we ported him in ourselves—like a glove… on OJ’s hand. With a deep racing background and a spot on the road crew for HHP Racing’s fleet of Dodges, he knows his way around horsepower better than most people know their way around a tool drawer.
He’s in charge of disassembly and inspection, which means he’s the first one to find what someone else messed up. Always smiling, always wrenching, and probably always thinking about boost, Cameron’s vibe is pure race fuel—high energy, good attitude, and built to rev.
Jimmy
Cylinder Head Cleaning Specialist & 3000GT Commander
Jimmy might be part-time at HeadGames, but he scrubs like a full-time savage. As the resident head cleaner, he takes filthy castings and brings them back to life—usually cleaner than when they left the factory. He’s young, hungry for horsepower, and already speaks fluent boost.
When he’s not elbow-deep in carbon deposits, you’ll find him whipping his 3000GT around like it owes him money. Oh, and he's Amy’s nephew—so that attention to detail? Runs in the family… or maybe he's just scared she’ll double-check his work.
Either way, your cylinder head's in good hands—and very clean ones.

Toby
Part-Time Editor, Full-Time Hair Wizard,
Toby AKA Sarah spends her days making people look good in the salon—and somehow still finds time to make us look good online. A full-time hairdresser turned part-time YouTube editor and content wrangler, she dove headfirst into editing and social scheduling with zero background and all the hustle. She’s the timing, the tone, and the calm voice behind our digital chaos. Oh, and she puts up with David, which officially qualifies her for sainthood—or at least hazard pay.

Krystle
Website Designer (Against Her Will), Real-Life Wonder Woman
Krystle doesn’t design websites for a living—she just made this one look better. With no formal training and a full-time job tolerating David, she wrangled this site into existence with sheer talent, determination, and a healthy dose of side-eye. Every clean page, smart layout, and polished detail? That’s her magic. She’s the behind-the-scenes MVP, the calm in the horsepower storm, and one of the few people on Earth who can translate David’s chaos into functional design without losing her mind—most of the time.

Jackson
Senior Shop Supervisor, Break Room Security
Jackson is a seasoned supervisor and unofficial morale officer at HeadGames Motorworks. After surviving a near-death vet visit (don't ask, we’re still traumatized), he returned with nine lives and zero tolerance for nonsense. You’ll find him patrolling cylinder heads, sleeping on freshly cleaned benches, and keeping a watchful eye on lunch bags. His purr is loud, his standards are high, and his presence is non-negotiable. Jackson reminds us daily that resilience is badass—and naps are essential.

Fiona
Quality Control, Vibes Manager
Fiona is Jackson’s sister and the self-appointed Queen of Quality Control. A proud plus-sized model with curves and confidence, she specializes in laying directly on the most critical paperwork, knocking pens off workstations, and overseeing final inspections from the coziest vantage points. Fiona doesn’t miss a thing—unless it's happening more than five feet from her food bowl. Sweet, sassy, and always photogenic, she makes sure everything meets her very specific (and mysterious) standards.
